Everly is almost exactly in the colour of the default background of iconic Windows 95. Come on, children of the 90s, who can remember the screen covered with marine-ish cyan? It was my first association with this beautiful semisoft (!) upon close inspection, but after a while, I had to ease my judgment; if it’s a Windows 95-themed bra, then the lace makes it a piece of dessous worthy of an electronic pixie.

Everly is the first British semisoft I’ve ever had in my hands and on my boobs. Despite my admiration for the aesthetic aspect, I was worried whether the combination of semisoft cut and a cradle band (i.e., the absence of the band piece going under the cups), that is two very problematic bra features for me, has a chance to work. Well, it worked, and I have a cleavage like a doll without any cookies. The fact that the lace is not attached to the edge of the padded part of the cups works very well in favour of the model.
Straps sparkle with flecks of gold, orange, red, and yellow – I have never dealt with glittery elastics before and I like them very much; I hope that Everly will appear in other colors, as in red it would be lovely, especially with this sparkly bit. Normally I am not a fan of red underwear (I know, heresy) but in this case I would be willing to have a go at it, especially since Panache has been making very tasty non-tomato-ish reds lately.
The cups consist of a padded part, reminiscent of a push-up insole, and a soft, elastic lace. Part of the cup that is appded is thin and does not ‘boost’ the size of the bust, only shapes it gently, while elastic lace calms down the breast line and does not bite into the tissue. This reminds me of the solution that Gorteks used in their Scarlet, but it’s a lot better executed here. It is basically just a really deep plunge with a very small breast coverage – and an upper extension in the form of an extended lace panel connected to a shoulder strap. A so-called high apex;)
Between the cups we have a lovely, small grosgrain bow in deep navy. I really like this particular type of flat bows, because they do not tilt the pan to the side of overloading despite the very marked presence.
As for the comfort of wearing, Everly is a strong four out of five – after a few hours, the underwire digs a bit into ribs under my breasts. This is just what cradle bands do in my case, because I have a protruding, round chest, but I can not expect that every manufacturer will use flexible wires. I have the impression that the cups are on the edge of the orange in a glass effect, but I can only feel it with my fingers, so let’s not take this into account.
Matching briefs reminded me of those from Envy. I love such a cut, because without any additions it looks always just as good and tempting, and neat at the same time. Floral lace is a classic that we’ve seen a hundred times, but it still wins me over with this colour. As always, I chose the size Large and it fits as it should.
Final judgment? I hope that Everly will become a precedent and its cut will appear in several other versions, not only in different colors. It fits me very well, almost a lounge bra, and on bust larger than mine it must make a colossal impression, especially considering how neatly it rounds the boobs. The slightly kingfisher-ish color was the first thing that delighted me, but the rest did not disappoint me at all, so I wish Everly a successful career and entry into the Panache Hall of Fame alongside Tango and Marcie.
